Peanut Butter Banana Smoothies for Pet Pal Animal Shelter

August 26 is National Dog Day, but at Rollin’ Oats we are celebrating dogs all throughout August 2023!

$1 of each Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie sold in August at Rollin’ Oats Cafe will go to Pet Pal Animal Shelter. Rollin’ Oats has an ongoing partnership with Pet Pal Animal Shelter, and this smoothie fundraiser is just another one of the ways we continue to support them.  Rollin’ Oats continues to sponsor a kennel to assist with the care and maintenance for the year and we also provide “Adopted & Adored” bandanas for adopted dogs at the shelter. Each new adopter at Pet Pal receives a coupon to shop at Rollin’ Oats in their adoption kits as well.

In 2023 we welcomed Tender & True and Nordic Naturals to the partnership, with the former donating bags of dog and cat treats and the latter donating a generous helping of their Omega-3 Pet Fish Oil soft gels.

Last year’s PB Pawty was a highlight, we couldn’t wait for this year’s.

The Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie is made with bananas, freshly ground natural peanut butter and your choice of apple juice or almond milk. If that sounds delicious to you then order one this August and help support Pet Pal Animal Shelter and their mission!*

Peanut Butter Pawty

We brought some of our all-natural, freshly ground peanut butter and an assortment of Kongs to Pet Pal. The mission: to throw a “Peanut Butter Pawty” for all the adoptable dogs to enjoy. BlackJack, Cayenne, Katie, and Polar were all very excited (and very well-behaved!) for their peanut butter treats. This celebration was a perfect kick off to the August smoothie fundraiser.

*Pet Pal Animal Shelter Mission*

“Our mission is to rescue dogs and cats from shelters that may otherwise be euthanized due to time limitations, illness, injuries or lack of socialization and training. We are dedicated to educating the public about the pet overpopulation crisis, the importance of spaying/neutering and responsible pet ownership.”

The ‘ole peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth, the gift that keeps on giving…at least that’s what Polar thinks.
